Well firstly the positives! We stayed with our own touring caravan, drove from the UK. Pitches are spacious and well placed for the pool, reception, snack bar and shop, although it can be noisy till 10/11pm it's not a problem as its still quite early on holiday.

We had a great holiday at Peneyrals but there were a few things that we would expect from a true 5 star campsite.

Lovely location, close to Sarlat and other little villages. Can highly recommend trips out to Domme, Beynac, Sarlat market, and coffee shop at Vitrac.

The toilets & showers are absolutely disgusting, they were not cleaned when scheduled. One day I noticed the cleaners sign off sheet had not been filled in for over 24hrs, then an hour later it had been filled in that they had been cleaned twice in that period when they had not, ( See the photos) first...

Pros - Lovely setting and beautifully laid out campsite with lots of privacy and shaded areas. Lovely pool, great slides for my 3 and 9 yr olds and a very attentive lifeguard.
