In the heart of the Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc, Rieumontagné campsite is located at an altitude of 800 m, in the Monts de Lacaune. Lake beach (300 m away) with authorized swimming and fishing. On-site aquatic facilities include a swimming pool.

In July and August, numerous activities are organized during the day and evening (shows, concerts, dances), and a children's club keeps the 4-10 year-olds entertained. The campsite offers a wide range of facilities, including table tennis, petanque and a playground for children and teenagers.

A grocery store, snack bar, takeaway and bread depot are also available to help you enjoy your vacation. WIFI access for a fee throughout the campsite.

Campsite very well located in front of the lake. Very varied vegetation and welcome shade. We loved the place. The facilities are not new but very well maintained and clean. We would like to come again.

I enjoyed:
the peace and quiet, the fresh air, the beauty of the surrounding villages, the walks in the forest and the delicious local charcuterie

I did not like:
the cold, the rain, the lack of sunshine, you had to go 20 km further down to find the heat

Lovely. Clean. Secluded and quiet. Restaurant lady quite grumpy.

Amazing wildlife. Lodge staff really accomodating.

A lot of guests wearing stupid sandals. Possibly a tradition I don't know about.

We have just come back from spending two weeks at Rieumontagne. It was delightful. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful scenery. The camp-site has direct access to the lake with its crystal clear water and centre for water sports. There are many beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside...

Whilst the accommodation was okay, the site needs much improvement. They advertise a restaurant, bar, epicerie (grocery store) and other facilities that are simply not as advertised. The bar and restaurant is the same place but mid-summer there were limited availability for tables or even take outs....

Déçu de la restauration, plus d'une heure d'attente et pas assez de choix. Camping propre, agréable, personnel sympathique. Piscine plutôt calme, propre, pratique pour les enfants en bas âge car nous parents nous avons pieds dans toute la piscine

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans ce camping. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, mobile home propre avec une grande parcelle ce qui est très agréable. La piscine est petite mais nous le savions lorsque nous avions réservé. Le camping est propre, l'équipe toujours souriante et professionnelle.
