There was no entertainment because it was out of summer season. I can't say half a bad thing, it was a great holiday.
Ana, rated 9/10, 10/09/2023on 10/09/2023At Camping Playa Joyel, part of the town of Noja, you can look forward to a well-deserved holiday in Spain. Spent four nights on a €34 per night including everything, over 60s, September deal. Excellent beach, there is a pool, restaurant and bar. Toilets and showers were the cleanest I have seen. Pitch was a good size. Quiet due to being September. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely clean,... relaxed, well maintained site and the added bonus was that no dogs were permitted.

A lovely campsite. We rented a caravan this year. The van was a bit basic but the site itself is five star. I would definitely recommend this site to people of any age.
It was quiet at night and we slept very well. It is right on the beach but the centre of the village is a good walk away. The... site restaurant food was not as good as in previous years but the service was first class. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Lovely campsite secure, safe and logical. Pizza and cooked chicken take away. Good facilities right next to a lovely beach. Excellent play area. Good cycling nearby. Book restaurants for the evening. The only downside is the pool lacks the holiday vibe and the entertainment went on one night till 2...am.

I have to say this review is mainly directed at Eurocamp not the campsite but they shouldn’t allow such poor practice by Eurocamp. We booked a comfort XL with air con and got an old cramped mobile home falling to bits. No air con, broken window that you can’t open, broken wardrobe that you can’t... hang clothes up in. It’s supposed to have sun loungers, there isn’t any, but there’s no space anywhere to put them as we’re so close to the road and the next neighbour. I’ve tried complaining to the reps but there’s always a long queue of customers complaining of the same thing. The campsite is ok but 75% of the pitches are too cramped, the pool has no shade and there’s fights for sun loungers and the restaurant is essentially an expensive cafe.
Eurocamp have been dining out on their reputation from the 80s and 90s but it’s unrecognisable now. Their customer service is more like Ryanair. This year I think it might even have been their business model to upgrade all their existing mobile homes to the next level up, take the money and deal with the complaints later.
Just got back from 5 nights here. Overall would rate it a poor for the following reasons: You have to pay extra for everything - bed linen, wifi, use of tennis court etc. Some of the facilities were not open eg games room. The pools are not heated so useless in May. They have no tennis rackets etc for... you to hire so we could not play any of the racket sports unless you bring your own. There is little privacy as one accommodation unit kitchen area looks directly into the others outdoor entertainment area. And they expect you to clean the entire unit before leaving!! Plus it’s not cheap. On the plus side it has great access to the beach and the supermarket is well stocked.
