As for the location, I misjudged the distances in relation to what I wanted to see. Otherwise, it’s really quiet and easy to get to.

The campsite is situated in a very pleasant rural setting – 5 km from the sea – with plenty of trees and a peaceful atmosphere. The mobile homes are a little too close together… The welcome needs improving; the site inspection is a self-assessment, which is not contractually valid. A last-minute notice states that arrival is only permitted between 3 pm and 6 pm; otherwise, no mobile home will be provided, even if booked. On Sunday mornings, the campsite is closed, so you are asked to arrive in the afternoon only (this information is not explicitly mentioned at the time of booking). No bike hire!

The campsite is well equipped, but the snack bar (outside the fenced area) is open year round, and only closed on Monday. It serves hot and cold drinks (including wine and beer) and food throughout the day. The walking trails around the lake lead you back to its door and the parking lot.

We stayed at this campsite for 2 nights, before heading to Rocoff, It is 45 mins away. The pitches are a very good size, there is always something for children to do, there is a play park, crazy golf and 2 swimming pools. Not forgetting the free wifi that works around them! Good value for money, toilets...
