Situated in the Marais Poitevin, our l'ile Cariot campsite is in the heart of the dried marshland canals, 30 minutes from La Rochelle, the beaches of the southern Vendée and close to the Venise Verte and its capital Coulon. It's the ideal setting for a holiday of nature, relaxation and discovery.

This year, make a reservation at Camping L'île Cariot and let yourself be seduced by the town of Chaillé-les-Marais in the Vendée where the establishment is located: it's a beautiful place that you're sure to love. Nestling in the heart of the Pays de la Loire region, at a reasonable distance from the beach (31.5 km), this campsite can open the doors of this area to you. The site is small and friendly. The owners are such a pleasure, always available and made everyone feel welcome. The shared facilities are kept very clean throughout the day and topped up with soap & toilet paper.

This campsite is lovely and friendly with a welcoming atmosphere. The pitches are a good size lined with trees for some shade. There are some nice activities organised for children (and adults) during the week. We enjoyed the 'Lotto' and kids liked the team games! Moules, Frites night is also very popular!....
