Nestling in the heart of the Pays de la Loire region, at a reasonable distance from the beach (31.5 km), this campsite can open the doors of this area to you. Swimmers will also appreciate the heated outdoor swimming pool, which is only open during the summer months. To ensure your comfort, the campsite offers a range of facilities and services. At 12 kilometres from the campsite

From the North, on the A83: towards Niort, take exit N°7 (La Rochelle, Ste Hermine, Luçon), continue on the D137 towards La Rochelle, go through Saint-Jean-de-Beugné, cross Sainte-Gemme-la-Plaine, go to Moreilles, at the exit of Chaillé-les-Marais, turn left towards the municipal stadium. The Ile Cariot site is on your right after the big stadium.

The site is small and friendly. The owners are such a pleasure, always available and made everyone feel welcome. The shared facilities are kept very clean throughout the day and topped up with soap & toilet paper.

The pool was a highlight: heated and clean. There are several recliners and parasols....

Although there are many sites brim full of entertainment, we chose this one because it offered calm in a nice area on our three month meander around Spain and France, with a caravan. It didn’t disappoint. The reception from Sabine was exceptional, cleanliness meticulous and the site was well kept....

This campsite is lovely and friendly with a welcoming atmosphere. The pitches are a good size lined with trees for some shade. There are some nice activities organised for children (and adults) during the week. We enjoyed the 'Lotto' and kids liked the team games! Moules, Frites night is also very popular!....
