Overall we had a good stay, however we found the campsite staff (bike hire, reception) not very friendly and welcoming, and the campsite relatively deserted by its staff (little life in the campsite).
We regretted not being able to reserve sheets, high chairs etc via camping.com.

The pool area covers 600 m². You can choose between the open-air pool area or the covered, retractable and heated pool. It is equipped with various leisure equipment, water games, bubble baths and wellness areas. For 2022, the new pool is equipped with several slides with kamikaze descent, pentaglide tracks, 2 slides with stroboscopic tunnel and a range of fun games.

We had a wonderful break at this campsite. It was lovely, our accommodation was amazing and the location was breath taking (first photo is the view from our caravan). Wow! We’ve been to Annecy many times, but this was our first stay at L’Ideal—and we’re so glad we decided to try somewhere new. It’s safe to say this will now be our go-to destination whenever we return to Annecy. We’re a family of six, with children aged 10–17, and it suited us perfectly.

Good location and pools. The sanitary facilities were very mixed. Two out of three blocks were very outdated and often smelt of urine. Pitch had a good view but was very stony. Kids enjoyed the pool area. We had a good week but I wouldn’t return to the campsite itself.
