Description of Camping Les Pérouses du Phare

Les Perouses campsite is located at the tip of the Ile de Ré, ideally situated 400 m from La Conche beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. On the other side, the famous Phare des Baleines lighthouse and its rocks await young and old to discover the pleasures of shell-fishing.

There's also a children's play area, petanque pitch, table tennis, table football, etc. Many activities are available in the surrounding area: golf course, tennis court, mini-golf, riding centre, pony rides, kite-surf hire, etc.

Every morning in July and August, fresh bread and pastries are available on reservation. There is also a food truck on the campsite on certain evenings.

Useful information

Tourist taxes are to be paid on site according to the current rates. A deposit of 380 euros will be required on arrival to guarantee the rental and the cleaning on departure.

Every Monday evening a welcome drink will be offered at the Patio, this will be the occasion to meet us to present you our campsite and discover our island. (see schedule on site)
On Tuesday, two activities will be suggested to you alternatively: Pétanque or Table Tennis tournament
On Thursday, those who wish to do so, can sign up for a convivial evening around the Barbecues.

A visit to the famous Baleines lighthouse, which owes its name to the beaching of whales trapped by the sea currents. You will need to make a little effort to climb the 257 steps, but the view on arrival is well worth it.

The location and the quietness.
The cycle path at the campsite gate.
The availability of the managers.

I did not like:
The poor Orange network (the campsite is not responsible).
The mobile home was a bit basic for a premium
The service provided by campsite number 1, which did not give me the CNAS discount (to be continued) and whose availability was not synchronised with that of the campsite.
