The campsite La dune des Sables is nestled in the heart of a forest of fragrant pines facing the Vendée coast, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. It welcomes you for adventure vacations in the middle of nature. You will enjoy the heated swimming pool and its paddling pool, the waterslide area as well as the outdoor and discovery swimming pool.

We liked the general cleanliness of the campsite, the peace and quiet, the welcome and availability of the staff and the snack bar.
The only downside was the lack of privacy: the mobile homes and chalets overlook each other, and it's impossible to enjoy the large bay window of the accommodation without sharing the life of the parallel accommodation. On the terrace, everyone can see each other at almost 360°, which is a real shame for a 5-star campsite.
We'll definitely be coming back, but we'd ask you to stay in very specific areas.
However, congratulations once again to the team for their good humour, availability, entertainment and services.

I liked it:
quiet and well maintained campsite, nice swimming pool

I did not like:
the beach next to the campsite (gravel, unsupervised swimming) so we had to go to the beach in Les Sables d'Olonne, although we had chosen this campsite for its direct access to the beach

Great campsite, great beach, great rep, great time had by all. It was just a shame the the accommodation did not live up to expectation, literally stepped off veranda i to a bush and could speak to next caravan whilst they were on the toilet.

We really enjoyed our stay here in 3 caravans: all couples with young children.
Beautiful sea view.
Heated pools.
Relax atmosphere.
Spacious pitches.

2 minor points for improvement:
- Bakery has limited offering and you need to order the day before
- EV charging spots where always occupied by non EV...

We stayed here for 11 nights as a family of 8. First the bad points: the mobile home was cramped with very little storage space. Beds were uncomfortable, shower was rubbish.
