Just 150 m from a fine sandy beach, welcome to the Escale du Perthuis campsite, in the Vendée opposite the Ile de Ré. There's an aquatic area with a heated outdoor pool, a slide, a paddling pool and a heated indoor swimming pool.

In July and August, the mini-club welcomes children for fun and recreational activities. The campsite team organises sports tournaments during the day and theme evenings from time to time.

On the service side, there's a snack bar with takeaway food or terrace dining, a grocery shop and a bakery. A free shuttle bus will take you to the town centre during the day and in the evening...

Good to know

Direct access to the beach closed*.

From 1 September 2025, the Syndicat Mixte de Bassin du Lay will be undertaking consolidation work on the dyke between the campsite and the beach. As a result, direct access to the beach from the campsite will be closed until the end of March 2026, then again from September 2026. The beach will, of course, remain accessible via other routes close to the campsite*. In addition, the Syndicat informs us that it is highly likely that the works will cause noise pollution during this period. Unfortunately, the constraints imposed by this work are beyond our control, and we thank you for your understanding.

Very pleasant campsite, we were on the sea side and the direct access to the beach is really practical. Quiet family campsite and this part of the Vendée is great! We'll be back with pleasure and recommend this campsite.
