We liked the peace and quiet and the distance between each mobile home. We were able to use the small "garden" to relax and park our vehicle. The accommodation was spacious, even the bathroom.
However, I found the price for washing and drying clothes extremely high, especially as I had badly spun clothes (despite 1200 revolutions of the drum) and badly dried clothes (even though the machine was a third full). 6.5 for the wash and 4.5 for the dry for a less than stellar quality.
But overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

A very pleasant campsite with spacious pitches and nice clean sanitary block. But 18€ for the first night rather than the ACSI advertised 14€, so a 28.5% hidden price hike gets imposed on you when you turn up.
Turns out it’s a municipal site so local politicians make silly, uncommercial pricing...

Why a booking charge?

First of all, be aware the reception is closed 12.30 until 15.00 so no checking in until then - either for the Aire or the campsite. Advertised prices are 11 euros and the site 14 euros ( if you have an ACSI card). However, you are charge a 3 euro “ booking fee” on arrival! Just don’t understand...

Just off the N10 a nice quiet camp site about 5 klms north east of Angouleme. A choice of hard stands or grass pitches. Free wifi. Plenty of cycling routes. Leisure pool close by with discounts for campsite guests. There is also a restaurant onsite.
