Swimming pools too small, no safety ramp to get into them, tiny rooms in the premium bungalows – you can’t even pass each other – and hardly any storage space. Lack of supervision at the swimming pools: they let people with their shoes on inside the pool area dive in, huge rubber rings: try swimming in those conditions.
Very expensive restaurant with nothing special about the setting.
Attentive and polite staff. Out of our 7-day stay, we had no hot water for 3 days and the dishwasher broke down twice. Very poor internet connection, even though we’d paid for a 6-day package.

Reading reviews it's more personal opinion to what people expect rather than a campsite. There was 7 of us, grandparents, parents and 3 older teen girls. Had an immaculate ultimate plus, with outdoor kitchen and an OVEN. It was like new. The site is small, clean and very laid back even in the last weeks...

Massereau has changed a lot over the last few years. It was once an intimate 5-star site that holidaymakers and caravanners alike booked years in advance. Yes, it’s still a 5-star in name, but it’s nowhere near what it used to be as a site.
