Apart from the swimming pool and a small playground, there isn’t really much to do at the campsite. It’s a small, well-organised campsite with spacious pitches offering plenty of privacy. Its location on a bend in the Seine makes the campsite more difficult to reach by campervan; the ferries across the Seine don’t always run either, in which case you have to take a 30-minute detour. Apart from the abbey, there isn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity, though Rouen is nearby. The D-Day landing beaches are a two-hour drive away.

A family-friendly campsite; bread is available in the morning if booked in advance. The toilet facilities are good and there’s space available. We’d phoned the campsite to ask for a secluded pitch as we were staying for a week, and our request was accommodated. A shaded area, which was very welcome given the heat.

The showers weren’t clean and it smelled awful. The ground is sandy with no grass anywhere

Good location.Family atmosphere.
Site was noisy at night, mainly unsupervised children.
Shame about the state of the toilets in the older sanitary block. Obviously hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time time!

Verg large pitches, ample clean ammenities, good value for money and amongst beautiful surroundings. They have a great pool that is open all day and into the evening so you can go in and out to cool off. Their bar/snack area is fantastic and we enjoyed watching France win their quarter final world cup...

We stayed here for three nights as a stopover on our way back from the Loire so that we could visit Rouen and Giverny. Firstly staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. However the pitches are very small and are not grass as advertised but hard dirt. I appreciate it has been a dry summer but...

We had an early morning start as we had an 830 am ferry from Caen so we set our alarm for 430 , cleaned up and were ready for 5am for the 100min drive , then we get to the gate of the campsite and we were locked in , there was no way out so we called the emergency number 15 times in 90 mins and then...
