In a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere, the Camping de l'Arquebuse*** welcomes you to a lush, rural setting along the banks of the Saône in Burgundy.

The campsite offers a range of on-site leisure activities; indeed, you can enjoy a game of pétanque on our court near reception, in the shade of an oak tree that is well over a century old. You can also enjoy a game of table tennis or a spot of fishing, as the campsite is bordered by the River Saône.
In fact, for our fishing enthusiasts, we’d like to let you know that we have a private boat launch on the campsite.

Nearby, you’ll find: Water sports: a sailing club, hot-air balloon rides, and fishing in the Val de Saône.
As the campsite is situated 500 metres from Auxonne town centre, you’ll have quick access to the shops and the water sports centre next to the campsite.

In terms of on-site facilities, you’ll find:
- A restaurant, ‘Le Bord de Saône’ – it isn’t part of the campsite but is open to all our camping guests.
- A grocery shop selling bread (to be ordered the day before for the following day), ice cream for those with a sweet tooth, and an excellent local beer.

The shady campsite is close to the town where there are many shops.
Even though the road is close to the campsite, it didn't bother us.
The toilets were partly closed, which was the most annoying thing.
