Really fabulous staff and location!

As this is another one of my longer reviews, so I will do another bit of sectioning here to make it easier to read.
Rooms 🛏️
So the rooms in the mobile home were quite spaced efficient. Our mobile home had 6 rooms in it and a wooden porch/balcony. There was a main area with a TV, table, couch,... kitchen utensils and cooking facilities, a small toilet room, a shower/sink room, 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each and a room with a double bed. They all had radiators which were adjustable, a wardrobe and an overhead storage unit. The beds were good quality and comfortable. They came with a sheet and a duvet. There were also windows in the bedrooms which had a safety lock. In the main area there was a fridge.
Sleep Quality 😴
Slept well most nights. The weather was warm so it was only necessary to have the sheet on. Noise levels were really good with no loud music, partying or anything like that.
Food 🍔
There is a lovely little shop on site where you can get pastries like croissants, pain au chocolats and more. I didn't try the restaurant sadly but the bar was pretty good, offering a range of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks too. A coke cost €3.50 which is a little expensive I think.
Staff 👱♂️
This is definitely one of the aspects that stick out to me the most as being outstanding. They are always helpful and friendly with loads of smiles. They spoke English really well and French obviously.
Leisure Facilities 🏊♂️
These were absolutely amazing as there was obviously the star of the show: the 7 outdoor slides. There were 3 slower purple straight ones, a fast straight orange one, a more slow green one which was curved, a big blue one which was curved with a plughole in the middle and the iconic 'MS' wave slide which had to be done in the dinghy. Other than those slides, there was a walking lazy river, a jacuzzi and tipping buckets in the shallow section. The temperature of the outdoor pool was cold at the start but you adjust after a few slides. Poolside, was a great row of sunbeds and ,further back, beanbags in a suntrap area, shaded.
Then, the indoor pool. It was a good bit warmer than the outdoor pool. It had 2 relaxing jacuzzi sections, 3 water jets and 1 waterfall, another walking lazy river and a children's section with a slide. Beside the indoor bit, there was a children's outdoor bit with more slides - but only 8 and under allowed in.
Offered were exercise, stretch and dance classes just beside the outdoor pool. They were very nice and well instructed. Also were poolside dances every few days.
A little down the road from the campsite, there was a tennis court ( well-kept ) which could be booked and the reception area, and 2 multi sports courts for basketball and football.
Also there was a spa that you could go to and I think it cost around €40 for a massage.
Most nights had some form of entertainment and there was also an area with maybe 12 table tennis/ping pong tables. As well as that there were bouncy castles, trampolines, 2 small football courts and 2 beach volleyball courts.
One of the only things I could say negatively is that there was a lack of lifeguards in the outdoor pools and indoor pools. Only a few times did I see a lifeguard there. Although, the people were generally well behaved on most occasions so the lifeguard wasn't a big issue.
Location 📍
Five out of five for the location here as it's near the lovely town of Les Sables d'Olonne and, so, it's close to the lovely beach called La Grande Plage ( The Big Beach! ). Loads of lovely restaurants spotted along the coast as well as cafés and ice cream shops. I'd personally recommend 'Chez Marcel' as a good restaurant to try which I have also written a review for.
Prices 💶
The prices for this campsite are really good as they are only €40-ish more than some of the camping pitches. I assume maybe the food in restaurant might be a little on the expensive side for the service but I can't be sure. Pools and all are free.
Other Facilities 🕹️
There's a recycling area in the car park opposite the campsite for all the different materials.
In the bar, there is an arcade. This, in my opinion is a bit of a scam. There is a pool table which is good apart from one of the balls gets stuck when you put the money in. There is a game where you have to cut the wire to get a teddy but I wouldn't do it. The pinball is good but the machine on the left can be awkward so I'd do the one on the right. The ice hockey table is good as far as I've experienced. The punch bag is good too as well as the 2 basketball games.
Also at the bakery, there are souvenirs available to purchase ( fridge magnets, t-shirts, etc. )
There is a kids club available too.
Bugs 🪲
I figured I would include this section for any people who aren't a big fan of the bugs/insects. Be aware this is valid for off-season, April-May sort of time. So there are barely any bugs at this time. I've seen maybe the odd wasp and bumblebee but that's really it. Not really any spiders either so generally really good!
Overall ✍️
I would really recommend this hotel for families on a budget but also looking for a good time having fun with different sports and activities. The friendly multilingual staff are very fun and easy to approach. They also have a sense of humour ( I got pushed into the pool by one of them! )
Extra Tips 💡
Try to book near the pool so you don't have to walk too far unless you aren't there for the pool. Also don't fret about getting sunbeds as soon as possible as there are loads of free spots.
Summary 📄
Good for large groups, children especially, budgets and fun. Great location! Brilliant campsite and mobile home!
