This is reflected in a number of measures: recycling (selective sorting, reduction in paper printing, etc.), energy savings (use of energy-saving light bulbs, solar lighting, timers, etc.), water savings (water pressure reducers, timers, night-time watering, etc.) and air quality (use of electric carts).

During the summer only, a kids’ club, a playground and, amongst other things, a water slide are open to keep our young summer visitors thoroughly entertained.

Furthermore, during the last week of August (stays from 22 to 29 August 2026), Calypso will be hosting a themed week "The Big Break Before Term Starts”, during which all our entertainment and activities will be tailored to children under 10 and their parents, with a specific theme for each day (play, sport, wellbeing, nature, etc.). Evening events will finish no later than 10.00 pm or 10.30 pm, and bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and a co-working space will be included for all bookings during this period.

In total, the water park with slides covers 3,000 m² of open-air pools, which are heated during July and August. Younger children can enjoy a large paddling pool in complete safety, with plenty of fun water games such as: the crocodile, monkey and tortoise slides… Small and large barrels, and water tower swings. It’s a real little paradise for the little ones, but also for older children. They can do a few laps in the pool before relaxing in the jacuzzi and on the sun deck.

Camping Calypso offers up to 25 entertainment events a day, from 4 July to 20 August, featuring special guests and performances. You’re free to join in the evening entertainment – whether it’s the show, which changes every night (cabaret revue, live band, calypso show, sketches, etc.), or the Crazy Kids programme, organised especially for your children.

For little ones aged 4 to 7, the Kid’s Club is sure to delight them! With a range of activities and entertainment (face painting, role-play, wooden games, colour run, storytelling)… they won’t have a moment’s boredom!

For juniors aged 8 to 12, the Junior’s Club offers a range of workshops (fashion design, photo rally, etc.) and activities (gyroball, mini-golf, sports tournaments, rodeo) throughout their holidays…

Older children aged 13 to 17 can join the Teen Club. It’s the perfect way to meet new people and have a great time during their holidays in Torreilles-Plage, with sports tournaments, outings and teen meals organised by the campsite.

Theme weeks:

26 June to 3 July 2027: Adults-Only Week: A special week for adults.
All activities will be open exclusively to those aged 25 and over. No paddling pool, no slides, no children’s clubs, no junior clubs, no teens’ clubs. Wi-Fi and access to the co-working space included.

4 July 2027 to 11 July 2027: Parents v Teens Battle Week: A week-long challenge between parents and teenagers: A week dedicated to children aged 11 and over.

From 22 August to 28 August: The Big Break Before the New Term: A week dedicated to children aged 10 and under. During this week, all activities will be dedicated to families with children aged 10 and under. There will be no activities for those over 10. No junior clubs, no teen clubs; evenings will finish by 10.30 pm at the latest.

What we liked: a well-located campsite; clear and regular information emails in the run-up to and during our stay; well-designed and well-equipped accommodation; the water park; and the evening entertainment. What we didn’t like: rather ‘cold’ and unfriendly reception staff; having to provide a credit card imprint online for the deposit, which is a bit worrying given the risk of hacking; the cleanliness of the accommodation could do with some improvement; the location of the accommodation, with direct views into all the windows and onto the terrace; the bed linen, which was provided free of charge that week but was of highly dubious cleanliness.

We liked our accommodation and the children’s pool. However, there weren’t any evening activities for the little ones – a mini disco, for example, would have been very welcome. The shows start late, and with young children it’s too much of a struggle to stay until the end. As for the campsite facilities – the toilet and shower blocks, for example – they really aren’t up to 5-star standard.

A very good campsite, with great entertainment and a really friendly atmosphere. It’s in a great location for the beach and nearby activities. Perhaps the only thing is the toilet block – everything’s generally clean, but it could do with a bit of a refurbishment, in my opinion. Otherwise, it’s really excellent.
