Good...but

This campsite is a double edged sword. On one hand you have the beautiful beach, the excellent washroom facilities and lovely staff, but then there are several large flaws.
The first is the size of our pitch, it was so small we literally had 30cm aside to fit in our caravan, with a alarmingly small... opening to access the whole pitch itself. I appreciate the more pitches the more money to be made, but there has to be thought taken as whether you have made them too small for practicalities sake! It took six of us to get it in and that was working for over half hour.
The second issue is not entirely the fault of the site, rather the neighbouring one, which unfortunately the site wraps around. It is the volume of music, pumping out all hours. Now I love my music and like to party, but I draw a line to hearing club music throughout the night and at high volume, which makes it not really somewhere for young children to come, as it can lead to very tired hysterics the next day.
The third and final point is the 'entertainment'. Cannot we enjoy just enjoy one evening by the poolside bar restaurant without being barraged by loud and ridiculous performances. We found a lovely place nearby which did fabulous music, which everyone there enjoyed, whatever the age. Stark contrast to the campsite!
We stayed here for two weeks and then left and went to a separate site 20 minutes away. What a difference, we all relaxed, got some much needed sleep and had a great time. Most telling of all was the fact everyone at the second site rebooks because it is so good, ourselves included.
Sorry Le Palais, perfect in theory, but sadly lacking in reality.
If you want a cramped pitch, often very open and lacking any kind of privacy, no sleep and club music pumped out then this is the site for you.
I loved the staff, but the rest fell short to compensate.
Would not recommend!
