Situated in Saint-Palais, in the heart of the Blayais vineyards and on the edge of the forest, Camping Chez Gendron offers a natural and eco-responsible setting (with the Green Key label) ideal for recharging... your batteries. Just 20 minutes away, you can explore the Citadelle of Blaye, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or take the famous Pilgrim 's Way to Santiago de Compostela, which passes close by. For your aquatic relaxation, the establishment has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and a secure paddling pool for the little ones, perfect for cooling off in the Gironde sunshine.
Activity lovers will be delighted by the many facilities available on site, including football pitches, volleyball courts, petanque courts and even a homeball court. A games room with billiards, table football and table tennis is also available for convivial moments. For families, the campsite offers children's activities (in French and English) as well as creative nature workshops. Younger children can also enjoy the play area with trampoline. In high season, don't miss the 'guinguette' evenings and the local producers' markets organised directly on the site.
When it comes to services, everything has been thought of for your comfort, with a restaurant and snack bar serving simple, tasty dishes, as well as a bread and pastries drop-off service every morning. The campsite makes it a point of honour to make it easy for you to get around, with classic and electric bicycles available for hire, ideal for exploring the nearby marked trails. There is also Wi-Fi access, a communal barbecue area and a small grocery shop selling local produce. For owners of hybrid or electric vehicles, a recharging point is available on site. Read more
