Green Key<\/b><\/p>\n

Present on five continents, the Green Key tourism ecolabel is the first international sustainable tourism label for tourist accommodations and restaurants committed to a high-performance environmental approach, with the aim of constantly evolving towards the best practices recommended by Green Key.<\/span><\/p>\n

Developed in France since 1998, the Green Key label is the leading ecolabel for tourist establishments in France, both in terms of the number of establishments certified and the label\u2019s anteriority.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its criteria are based on respect for nature and people. They result, in particular, in the rational consumption of energy and water, good waste management, leisure activities that do not harm our environment, raising guest awareness and employee training… These enable establishments to reduce their environmental impact and commit to achieving the UNO’s Sustainable Development Goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

European Ecolabel<\/b><\/p>\n

Launched in 1992 by the European Commission, the European Ecolabel is an official label for environmentally-friendly products and services. Tourist accommodation such as campsites have been eligible since 2005.\u00a0 The European Ecolabel is the only official ecological label common to all European Union countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

This label guarantees that the accommodation actively contributes to using renewable energy sources, saving energy and water, reducing waste production, combating food waste and improving the local environment.<\/span><\/p>\n
