I rented a tent and was surprised to find that there was no water point or drainage in the tent, which made cooking and washing up a problem... you had to go to the toilets and in the rain it was inconvenient. The campsite's hedges are high and bushy, which can be a real nuisance when it rains, even though we appreciate the coolness in summer and the isolation from the neighbours. However, the bedding is good. I wonder about compliance with fire safety instructions: if there is a power cut you will be in total darkness and if there is thick smoke it will be impossible to find your way around the toilets and the campsite. As for surveillance and safety, I'm dubious: we had a power cut for a whole night from 9.55pm to 8am without any power being restored, while the rest of the campsite had electricity.
I also rented a flat on the site: pleasant and comfortable. I would recommend it. Same problem with fire surveillance: the siren in one building went off for a long time without anyone being seen and the emergency number on the reception door was not answered. Fortunately it was a minor smouldering fire. I'm alive!!!
