Security deposit
The park charges a mandatory deposit between €65 and €115 per accommodation. For the sloop, mandatory additional service charges of €39.95 + an additional deposit of €35 apply.
Parking
You can park your car in the car park at restaurant 't Vonder, Binnenpad 14, in Giethoorn. From the car park, it is about a 400-metre walk to the park. You will receive a free parking ticket at check-in. You can use this unlimitedly during your holiday for one car per accommodation. For an extra car, you pay 4 euros each time you leave the car park. If you stay in the Crow's Nest, you will receive 2 parking tickets with unlimited use. When staying in the Vogelbroedplaats, you will even receive 3 parking cards, 1 per hotel chalet.
Pets
Pets are allowed in most accommodation. If you wish to bring a pet, you will have to pay a pet surcharge per pet per night. If you cannot bring pets when making your reservation, unfortunately there are no accommodations available where pets are allowed in the type of your choice.
Groups
If you wish to stay at the holiday park as a group, this must be announced in advance. The holiday park may refuse groups or charge a higher deposit.
Business stays
It is not allowed to make bookings other than for recreational purposes. Bookings made by companies will be refused entry to the holiday park on arrival.
Interior and exterior may differ
Please note that the interior and exterior may differ from the photos in real life. The photos are an indication of what you can expect at the park. It is therefore possible that your allocated cottage differs in terms of furnishing and appearance from what is shown in the photos.
Youth
Reservations can only be made by persons over 21 years old.
Disabled
Please note that Vakantiepark Gierthoorn is only accessible via a footbridge. This makes the park difficult/unaccessible for the disabled.
Maximum 3 accommodations in 1 booking
A maximum of 3 accommodations can be booked in 1 booking. More accommodation in 1 booking is a possibility.

Booking multiple accommodation
Reservations with multiple accommodations are not guaranteed until you receive an invoice from the park.
Accommodation
In 2024, the boat at Vakantiepark Giethoorn is included with the accommodation from 1 February to 31 October. (Except Lepelaar hotel chalet and the tiny house, these accommodations do not have a boat with the accommodation) The boat at group accommodation the Vogelbroedplaats and the Kraaiennest is available all year round, weather permitting.
