The textile village of Grossschönau is 2.5 km away, accessible by car or on foot. This village is closely linked to the history of damask and terry cloth weaving. As you stroll through the village, you'll notice a unique style of timber-framed house, typical of this region, the "Umgebinde" houses that were mainly occupied by weavers. Of course, you must visit the Zittauer Gebirge nature park, where you can discover the endless beauty of the Zittauer mountains and, on a clear day, admire the border with the Czech Republic.
