Loved the area around argelès-sur-mer and we travelled in our car from caen so we were able to explore all the towns and villages in the region.
The campsite itself was average. Our eurocamp rep xavier was excellent but our accommodation was infested with ants and we were always trying to keep on top...

L’Hippocampe is a good campsite with plenty of activities in the area. The Pool On site is good and has a first aid poolside. activities for kids are ok. The Cabins In this campsite are spotless clean and there is also a reasonable amount of people compared to la sirène.

Chalet was in good condition, but with very limited space around the double bed and toilet was very cramped. Sheets were stained. Pool was very child friendly and clean. Good grief the noise at night time.
The music and people shouting down the mic goes on until nearly 11, it’s supposed to finish at 10:30. There is also supposed to be complete silence between 11pm and 7am….. lol…..loud obnoxious people don’t care about curfews!!
