A small friendly campsite with beautiful heated swimming pools. Close to the castles and the wine town of Saumur. Beautiful Loire Valley, Domaine de la Brèche campsite is situated on a lake surrounded by beautiful forests to explore.

Fishing, pony trekking, canoeing or long walks through the spectacular scenery of the Loire Valley. Discover the delicious wines and hidden caves of historic Saumur. Domaine de la Brèche is an ideal holiday destination!

A warm welcome where you will find everything you need for a great holiday. The owners are very welcoming. The facilities are also excellent: from the playground to the swimming paradise with children's pool and slides - a total length of at least 30 metres. The bar and restaurant are the tasteful finishing touch!

There is no restaurant on site for this season. However, the bar and takeaway are open to offer food and drink to guests and the town of Saumur (about 15 minutes away) offers a variety of restaurants.

Animations

For those who like to fish for gudgeon, they can enjoy the Brèche pond or the banks of the Loire in complete serenity.

The Mini-Farm allows you to familiarise your children with nature and life in the countryside. Between two cuddles with the goats and bread crumbs given to the chickens, they will be doing their somersaults. The mini-farm is a perfect place for the little ones!

The Children's Club welcomes your little ones from 3 to 8 years old. The children can choose between different creative, playful and sporting activities, dance at the mini disco or practice their skills and balance at the circus workshop.

It is quite clear the pool area has been totally transformed and is now much better, but could do with more sun beds. The bar area and seating should be next as it’s quite basic and hasn’t been upgraded for some time, definitely need the flooring of the bar seating are sorting as the loose fine gravel...

We spent 10 nights there, we loved it. The site itself has lots of green space, and a large fishing pond. A couple of play parks and lots for the kids to do. The girls enjoyed the pony riding and took advantage of the kids club. The swimming pool is good, and the slides are good fun.

Small park but perfect for us. Fantastic slides in the swimming pool. Pony riding very good value and much cheaper than in UK. Snack bar good portion sizes and good range of ice cream but sometimes wait for both a little slow as not a lot of staff on. Shame the restaurant was closed for the season. Lovely...
