We liked the campsite’s location, but the mobile homes are run-down and lack kitchenware; the service in the bar and restaurant really needs improving, the welcome was fine, but we were very disappointed with the welcome drink – there was no introduction to the campsite or the week’s programme, nor was the campsite manager introduced; the organisation needs a complete overhaul. The swimming pool is completely unsupervised – it’s a right mess… As for the water slides, the children hurt themselves whilst sliding down; as for the play area, there’s no safety surfacing in case of a fall. On the subject of safety, we didn’t see any fire hydrants, no lighting in the paths. Despite all that, the setting is lovely and the campsite is well shaded; I hope these comments will help to improve things.

A quiet campsite in an ideal location, close to plenty of things to do. The swimming pool and toilet facilities are always clean – and, most importantly for a successful holiday, the staff are brilliant. They’re very friendly and cheerful. The restaurant was particularly good; we had a lovely meal there and got great value for money. So thank you for everything – our holiday was a real success.

First of all: this campsite has a great location for daytrips and activities. There is a creek and waterfall which are real benefits for the campsite. Also the pool is just great. The baby pool is unfortunalty cold most of the time so not so great for babies to bath in there.

Terrible service!

Good location. Next to a nice river and with a good swimming pool (unguarded). But the service, friendliness, helpfulness here: never experienced anything so bad! OK we arrived here as a family of 4 at the end of August. We had a mobile home that slept 4. The place is nice and clean. The swimming pool is good fun, it can get busy and anything goes as kids bomb into the water and balls are thrown around but after a day you get into it. There is a bar and restaurant...
