The La Barque campsite is ideally located on the banks of a river, close to the coastal towns of Fréjus and Saint Raphaël; the perfect place to enjoy a fun holiday. Guests love our outdoor pool with a children's pool and jacuzzis. In the school summer holidays the team run a family activity programme and a kids club for children aged between 6 and 12 with games, workshops and open-air activities. Guests can also enjoy playing boules and volleyball. In addition, the team run themed evening activities. From April to October guests can enjoy food from our campsite restaurant including various snacks, pizzas, barbecued food and salads. There is also a bakery service on-site every morning. Guests can fish and moor boats in the river.

Enjoy an outdoor swimming pool open from mid-April to the end of September, with a paddling pool and a whirlpool. The 100m pontoon along the river will allow you to enjoy fishing (permit required). The nautical base offers canoe, paddle etc... rental. From June onwards, the diving club will offer excursions and snorkelling trips.

I did not like it:
The campsite is too close to the busy road, the swimming pool has no sunshade and is closed between 12 noon and 2 pm, there is no small mini-market and you have to order bread the day before if you want it.

We were in quite a secluded spot overlooking the river and fairly close to the bridge/road which although it was busy didn’t impact much on our holiday at all. This review is for Eurocamp at La Barque, St Aygulf. I would have left it on the reevoo site that Eurocamp use but for some reason, of the 20 parcs in the Riviera and Provence region, La Barque is the only campsite without a reevoo option.
