Well situated campsite for visiting the Charente-Maritime! A pleasant campsite, with a nice swimming pool and friendly entertainers! The children had their "best life" as they say!
We were a little disappointed with the organisation, perhaps even a little mistake on our part when we booked our week's holiday, but we had booked without seeing Homair. Nothing too serious, but when we arrived the reception area was not the same as for all the other bungalows, which was a bit of a surprise. When we arrived we were given our bracelets and the key to the bungalow, everything was fine so far, we told them we'd be leaving a day earlier because we didn't want to be in traffic to get back, they said don't worry when you leave put the key on the table, there's no inventory of fixtures when you leave.... this surprised us but we understood when we arrived in the bungalow, they trust people but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired... We found sand on the mattresses, contact lenses at the foot of the bed, a nearly blocked sink in the bathroom with hair and lots of other things that I removed so as not to completely block the sink... food left over in the cupboards, not enough cutlery for the 4 of us, and we had to play handyman because in the middle of the night I found a screw from the toilet door on the floor... so we got back on our feet as best we could because we tried to find the people who look after the homair bungalows but to no avail, no-one at the local... so in that respect a bit disappointed, fortunately we had found a last minute promotion on the internet because paying full price would certainly have bothered me.
Otherwise the rest of the campsite is great!

This place is ok if your budget is tight. But bear in mind, the August month is super crowded, the Pools are too small and the place is packed. No Beach nearby and no Footpaths nearby either.

The staff were somewhat surly - a smile would have gone a long way. The mobile homes are very tightly packed - so much so that sound carries easily and if people are talking ( or stay up late drinking) it sounds as if it's in the next room! Stopped for one night as I travelled south and could not have been happier to stumble upon this site. An excellent campsite with great facilities including a superb swimming pool. I would highly recommend this site especially to those with children who would enjoy the pool and slides.

Nous sommes arrivés le 03/08 vers 15h40 et on nous apprend que le mobil-home n'est pas prêt et qu'il va falloir attendre...sans la moindre excuse...
